Conquering Bukit Tabur

Had a great hike today on Merdeka Day. Kinda tough n challenging one.
Amazed by the breath-taking view. Two thumbs up =)

A 9-days trip with my parents. Flight from kl to macau, headed straight to Zhuhai upon arrival. NOt much to do in Zhuhai other than shopping, it's a heaven for my mom. Perm my hair there, damn.

Went to SHenzhen by bus after that, approximately 2 hours(if not mistaken). Shenzhen, another shopping heaven for my mom. Went for sightseeing as well, a very well-developed city with advance subway, the hot spot would be the 'window of the world'. taken up much of my camera memory in there. After overspending in the city, we went to Hong Kong. It's very near, just like JB to SIngpore.

HOng Kong, pearl of the orient..another shopping heaven, now for me n for my mom, poor dad =) A nice city, went to almost all the famous spots, except disneyland. No big deal, it got the reputation as the lousiest disneyland anyway. Particularly like 'the peak', the awesome view of the city is unforgettable. fun.

Macau, the last destination. Went there by ferry, 1 hour approx. A very old city, share the same history as Malacca, somehow. Lots of churches, old buildings, castles and of course, CASINOs~
a very well-developed city with lots of skyscrapers as well. Nice to walk around in the small alleys, looking at the old architecture.. Tasted the famous pork bun, 猪扒包 , which is overrated, i think. Stayed in the lousy, really lousy, hotel where the film '2046' was shot. Lost some money in casino, and just a little bit of shopping, suppressing hardly, though.

Finished exam...passed my exam(hooray)... now I'm rotting at home.
eat, sleep, read, movie, movie, eat, eat, eat and sleep...pig life.

Really can't wait for the trip to macau, hongkong and china. =)))

Thailand and Cambodia - part 1

After months of planning, finally we began our 13days trip to Thailand and Cambodia. This was indeed a memorable trip and it marked our entry into the backpacker community. Bangkok is a safe city despite the bombing that occured occasionally. In fact, we feel safe to wander around the street at night.

I was particularly amazed by the beauty of Wat Phra Kaew. It is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.

Vinmanmek Teak Mansion, used to be summer residence of the Royalty, is another beautiful place where you can see their luxurious living.

Dare to try?? I did, and it's sucks..
